WorkSafe NZ has cancelled the class A and B licences of asbestos removal company Pacific Decontamination Services Ltd after they had multiple safety breaches. The breaches included five cases of potentially exposing people to asbestos fibres.
Pacific Decontamination Services’ owner also owns another asbestos company called Asbestos Removal NZ Ltd which, at the time of publication, still held a class B licence.
